
How to load a new Packetshaper image via FTP
General instructions to load a new Packetshaper image via FTP:
- Download new image from packeteer (i.e.latest.zoo or ram.zoo)
- Save file to local drive.
- FTP to Packetshaper and login (username=”blank”, password=”touch password”)
- Change to “bin i”
- “PUT” filename, i.e. put ram.zoo
- Quit FTP.
- Open a Telnet session to the Packetshaper
- Login using the “touch” password
- From the command line, type IMAGE LOAD filename, i.e. (IMAGE LOAD RAM.ZOO)
- Confirm loading the new image and reboot.
- After Packetshaper has rebooted, telnet to the Packetshaper
- Login using the touch password and type IMAGE SHOW.
- You should see the new image listed as the active image.
