Real-world Compression Example
You need two shapers to enable compression. One at each end of the link. The shapers sense each other and automatically create a compression tunnel for the appropriate applications such as web or database traffic. The bandwidth savings can be substantial. Some of our customers effectively turn T1s into 3-4 Mbps pipes.
